Stephanie Alexander Kitchen/Garden (SAKG) Program  ~ Unlike most other SAKG programs, at MPS the younger Prep to Grade 2 students spend time in the garden each week, as well as the Grade 3-6 students. Grades 3-6 also spend one and a half hours each week in a kitchen classroom preparing and sharing meals created from their produce.

Visual Arts ~ Children receive weekly Visual Art lessons in our Art Room which is well equipped with supplies and equipment.

Physical Education ~ Children participate in physical education classes each week. The physical education program is well supported - the school grounds are extensive and include a tennis court, sports oval, various play areas, and the Assembly Hall which is used during inclement weather.

Performing Arts ~ Children attend a weekly music or drama lesson in our well equipped Performing Arts Room.
